4. Structural Types
(1) Fixed Tube - Sheet Type: Compact and simple structure, with rigid connection between the tube bundle and the shell, suitable for working conditions where the shell-side medium is clean and the temperature difference is small.
(2) Floating Head Type: One - end tube sheet can move freely inside the shell, effectively compensating for thermal expansion, and facilitating the extraction of the tube bundle for cleaning and maintenance. It is suitable for situations with large temperature differences and where the shell - side medium is prone to scaling.
(3) U - Tube Type: The tube bundle is U - shaped with only one tube sheet, and the tube pass is at least two - pass. It can expand and contract freely, suitable for high - temperature and high - pressure conditions with clean tube - side media.
